Hands down, this game is better than the UFC games. Everything is smoother and flows just as you would want a realistic fight game to do. No matter how many "improvements" the UFC games by THQ make, they will always feel robotic & like a WWE wrestling game because of their game engine. EA Sports on the other hand uses one of the best game engines around. The stand-up feels very much like the Fight Night games and everything works great, and though I've seen complaints about their ground game controls, I haven't had a problem with it at all. It does take some time to get the hang of it, but playing career mode will help you greatly with that. The only reason I give this game a 4 instead of a 5, is because I'm a little upset that once you finish career mode... you're done, it's forced retirement. I really would like the option to keep fighting & be ale to move up & down weight classes with out having to create whole new characters. I wouldn't matter if there was no more dialogue. Also, I have the same issue with this game as I did Fight Night Round 4... it's hard to pinpoint why, but the stand-up simply isn't as good as Fight Night Round 3. Maybe it's how the controls are set up, but you simply can't bob & weave while simultaneously striking, as good as you could in Round 3. Or maybe it's just me, haha.Unfortunately, most people are fans of the UFC not Mixed Martial Arts, and the sales of this game have suffered. However, with Fighter Share in EA Sports MMA, many users online have uploaded fighters from the UFC that you can download for your own use. Brock Lesnar, Chuck Liddel, St. Pierre, etc. are all virtually apart of this game. All you have to do is download them. Overall, I love this game & can't wait for the next one in 2012.I personally enjoyed this game a lot.pros: fun game whether it's against the computer or just playing against your friends ( with two remotes, cuz online mode is not available) cool training sessions. pretty realistic and the fighters have a decent fight IQ.cons: the champion mode or whatever it's called, is too short. I loved fight night round 3 because you were never forced to retire, I used to have some really old fighters. In this game. u get a few belts defend it a few times and then you retire. Sucks but whatever. There's no excitement to the story mode. U get texts and stuff but there's no rivalry or anything like that No online mode because the servers are down. Something like THQ went out of business? Idk but either way, this is an old game so I'm sure nobody would be online anyway.I give this game 4 stars because if I had it when it first came out, I would easily give it 4/5 stars but it's been years since it came out and online mode is gone. This game would be 5 stars if there were less training and less load times. Here is an example in career mode.Cell phone rings - you click OK on the next fighter (You don't pick who you fight, they just tell you)LOAD TIMEYou select where you want to trainLOAD TIMEYou hear your trainer speak - "Hey bud I heard your flight got delayed"LOAD TIMEYou select what you want to train - Ground, Stand Up, Boxing, ETC...LOAD TIMERepeat 7 more timesTravel to fightLOAD TIME----That takes about 15 minutes of your time----The FIGHT---------> lasts about 2 minutesAND! REPEAT CYCLE!Another gripe I have is I'm still in some underground fight league. My dude is maxed out in stand up, ground, clinch and health. I be knocking fools out every time! Seriously my guy is like 40-0-0. At first I would knock the guy down and jump on top of him and stomp his face until he was knocked out. The fight would be over in 30 seconds... Now when I knock the guy down I just let him get back up and then keep knocking him down. He eventually gets knocked out cold on his feet. This is on the middle difficulty too. I'm going to ramp it up to the hardest difficulty and see if it's any better. When am I going to make it to the big league a.la StrikeForce? I want my guy to fight Dan Henderson, Babalu, Melvin Manhoef, etc... Is this even possible or am I stuck fighting these no name random characters?... Then you messed up. If you tap, you messed up. If you gas out on the way to a win, and lose instead, you messed up. I think you all get my point by now if you read this long. This is an awesome game. Technique and ring savy will be the way of the warrior here. You have to learn your fighter's strengths and weaknesses if he isn't starting as a striker. Strikers have a considerable stand up advantage and can become quite versatile if you make your defensive game the best it can be. Everyone strikes, but few are really ground game generals. That's not because of the game, but because of the players using them. The submission system is impressive from all standpoints of comparison. Securing a Darc Choke, a hold not well known and less applicable in most cases shows that a well of opportunity still is untapped in this title. The heavy Jujitsu that I hoped for isn't truly present, but that is also the case in real MMA, as the more eclectic techniques will rarely see the light of day in the fights of an MMA ring.Striking is fluid and easily picked up in the Total Strike System, but not easily mastered. Counter punching saves the all around fighters from the pure strikers that run rampant online. But remember......if you lost, you more than likely did something wrong. FYI, I love this game!Guys the game is excellent I loved it you should take this game it is better than ufc■GOOD■○登場してる実名の選手が多く、最初から使える有名な選手が多い。 WOW This is the best game of fight everVery realistic and very balancedJust WOW!!!
